This Northbrook kitchen was originally contractor-built - new and clean. But it didn't work for the homeowner, an avid pastry baker who needed real workspace to create.

Invented interiors reimagined the kitchen within the same footprint, enlarging the island, expanding continuous counter top space, and adding dedicated storage for baking tools and ingredients.

A separate bar area was introduced so guests could gather without interrupting the workflow

The result is the kitchen that finally supports how the homeowner lives and bakes - more functional, more organized, and more spacious without adding a single square foot.
